On Call

I worked on this project as a character designer with an interdisciplinary agile team of artists, designers, sound artists, and programmers. We used Unreal to implement game content. I was responsible for all character design in the game. I used Procreate for characters art and Google for collecting reference materials.

Responsibilities include:

• Created game character art

• Created expressions and poses of characters

• Worked with another artist to determine the art style of the game

• Participated in gaming workshops and updated daily progress

• Kept communication with project owner

Mr. Green-Sad/Happy

Morbidly obese, Caucasian male with red hair styled in a combover. He is on supplementary oxygen, so he should have a nasal cannula, but has a small smile on his face.

Barbara

Barbara Johnston is an 82-year-old female Afiracan-Asian American. She is small, and uses a walker, she styles her hair very short. She lays in her bed with the back of the bed propped up. She’s watching TV as she pleasantly eats her breakfast. She has healing bruises on her arms and legs. She suffered a fall at home, as she still lives alone.

Howard - Sad/Angry/Smile

African American, early 50s, large square build with strong muscles but going slightly overweight with a small stomach paunch. Receding hairline of short black hair.

Robert – Happy/Mad/Sad/Tears on face

Caucasian man, middle-aged, thinning blonde hair, broad shoulders, large forearms that look to be from a background in a blue-collar job.

Eva - Lying in hospital bed - Happy/Sad/Neutral

67-year-old white female with long black hair, going gray, pulled into a bun, olive colored skin, dark colored eyes. Slightly overweight.

Jessica - Mad/Neutral/Yelling/Smug

White female in her mid 30s with shoulder length straight black hair, tanned skin, slightly overweight.

Thomas - Sitting in bed - Sile/Happy/Sad/Disapproving

Chinese American, 72-years-old with short silver hair and a fit physique, light colored skin.

Nurse - Happy/Sad/Tired face

Filipino female in 30s. Short black hair, fit body type, short in stature. Wears scrubs. Has a tired, haggard appearance with dark circles under her eyes.

Michael (Administrator) - Yelling/Sad/Happy/Disapproving frown

White male, 42-years-old. Skinny body type, short caesar cut brown hair. Wears buttoned, collar shirt, with tie, and slacks pants. Wears glasses.

Golden Frame V.S. Black Frame V.S. Golden Chain

A funny fact is the original Michael was wearing a black frame glasses, but I prefer the golden chain. They said it was a old lady style. Then we decided to vote, and finally we chose the golden chain one since it showed more personality.

Michael was my favorite character in this game.
